Education for Sustainable Development (BNE) its 17 goals, promoting the participating school classes' teamwork and co-operation skills all these features provide us with the framework. We want to invite and empower participants to take responsibility for their own learning and lives through low-threshold, practical and methodologically varied education programmes. We want to motivate and support pupils in making their own contribution in developing a more sustainable society.

An activity-orientated / experiential education programme to promote social and personal skills for school classes from year 7 onwards

Experiencing community is a serious opportunity to support young people in their personal development. A favourable climate and a functioning class community improve the working atmosphere and the learning situation. Our school class programme ‘Cooperation in Action’ motivates through concrete, practical tasks and promotes individual and social skills in a playful and action-packed way. All exercises and activities are selected according to the existing situation and the thematic preliminary agreements, always reflected in a solution- and goal-orientated manner and evaluated in the community group.

We are happy to advise schools and teachers on how ‘Cooperation in Action’ can become a motivating learning workshop and contribute to improving the classroom climate.

Possible programme features:

  • Co-operative games and adventure activities
  • Experiential educational problem-solving tasks and initiative exercises
  • Visit to the high ropes course (by prior arrangement)

  • Forest - a network of life in many dimensions, it stimulates the imagination and invites one to rediscover! Is it our No. 1 climate saver?
  • Garden - the ‘green envelope’ around the JuBi has many faces, inhabitants, functions and secrets to explore
  • Wintertime - the quiet season? If you take a closer look, you will find a lot of life that can easily cope with the cold season...
  • Energy - indispensable for everyone, but humans and nature use it very differently...
  • Nature workshop - tree branches invite you to weave, shadows to measure time, stones to build, fruit to paint, twigs to build nests...

and that in the truest sense of the word

We would like to offer our participants an educational programme that they can experience and learn from, which deals with the diversity of soil related topics in a well-founded manner.

In addition to reflecting on our own behaviour in dealing with this finite resource, looking at how society deals with soil plays a central role in initiating soil awareness.

In addition to developing alternative ways of using the soil more sustainably, the events focus on promoting knowledge about soil life and understanding its properties and functions.

The aim is to move from knowledge and understanding the processes taking place in the soil, to concrete action in preserving it.
