Discrimination-critical learning and diversity
Diversity comes from the English word for variety. We live in a diverse society in which all people are diverse in their individuality.
The diversity concept is based on the diversity of people and the resulting potential for society; at the same time, it highlights the differences that lead to people being excluded and discriminated.
With inputs and opportunities for reflection, we look at our own living environment, privileges and discrimination processes in order to promote the active shaping of a diverse, equal and respectful coexistence. We offer thematic focuses on topics such as:
- Inequality and power – what does this have to do with me?
- Learning to be critical of racism – the history of racism
- Changing perspectives – me in a world of many
- Diversity in our migration society
